What the Client Wanted:
This customer from Newport Pagnell wanted a side extension on the property to make space for a brand new utility room. They also asked us to carry out an extension on the rear of the bungalow, which included a vaulted ceiling and four Velux Roof Windows. The property also required a complete refurbishment which included the removal of several walls and a chimney.
What we did:
Once we had removed the chimney and necessary walls, we replastered all of the walls and ceilings throughout the entire house.
Once the replastering had been completed, our team then started on the installation of the new kitchen. At this point, we also started works on the bathroom and en suite. This included complete retiling of the bathroom and the installation of a wet room, brand new toilet and sink.
All plumbing work was carried out by JCS MK Plumbing and Heston Solutions who specialise in plumbing, tiling and general bathroom installations. The property was also stripped of all existing plumbing and saw the installation of both a new Combi-System boiler and new radiators.
Clarkson Builders managed this whole build from start to finish and used the following reliable subcontractors. Having worked with these subcontractors for many years now, a great relationship has been formed. The complete redecoration of the whole house was carried out by local decorators, Perfect Colours MK and rewiring of the entire property completed by M.Cann Electrical Services. The floor screeding performed in the property was operationalised by Need 4 Screed.
